Circadian Rhythm: what is it and why it's important?
Circadian Rhythm (comes from Latin: "circa" meaning "around" or "about" and "diem" meaning "day") is the cycle our body follows in sync with the daily cycles of our environment: sunlight, moonlight, temperature, presence of food, eating food, interacting with people. All those things change throughout the day and our body must optimize its functions to avoid wasting energy doing things that are unnecessary at a certain time of the day, and doing others that are instead necessary.
